The Eagles victory led to a 11-game winning streak, tied for the second longest in school history, tied with the 2009-2010 Eagles.
Skyelar Potter lead the Eagles in scoring with a double-double, including 20 points and 13 rebounds.
Johni Broome barely missed out on his seventh double-double of the season, as he snagged 19 points and eight rebounds.
The Eagles were down 12 points, but were able to bring it within six at halftime, then played a close game as James Baker made two clutch free-throws in the closing seconds of regulation to tie the game at 67 to force the OT.
With less than a second left in OT, Austin Peay’s Terry Taylor made only one free-throw to secure Morehead State’s 11 straight win.
The Eagles will play four away games before they to return to Johnson Arena to play Tennessee State February 25 at 7 P.M. EST.
