Morehead State’s Soccer team lost to Tennessee Tech Tuesday.
The Eagles and The Golden Eagles went almost the entire game without scoring, until Tennessee Tech’s Chloe Smith scored the only goal of with less than three minutes to play.
During the first half of the game, the Eagles took advantage of the ball and were able to attempt at taking shots 6 times.
In the second half, Tennessee Tech held the Eagles to two shots taken. The Eagles managed to receive four corner kicks throughout the game.
Morehead State's eight attempted shots came from Kate Larbes a sophomore, Colleen Swift, Redshirt sophomore, Eva Kiper, sophomore and Freshman Christa Palla. It was Palla's first career attempt.
Morehead State Soccer is now 0-3, while Tennessee Tech jumps to 2-0 on the young season.
MSU Soccer’s next game on Friday at 3:00 P.M. in Richmond Kentucky. The Eagles will return to Jayne Stadium March 16, 2021, at 3:00 P.M.
